Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free at Magic Kingdom in Disney World

One thing I love about Disney World is their ability to handle multiple food allergies with ease! There are so many gluten-free and dairy-free restaurants at Magic Kingdom and the surrounding Disney theme parks!

I have been dairy-free for more than 10 years now. About 3 years ago I went gluten-free as well.

Finding gluten-free and dairy-free restaurant options can be so challenging. But not at Disney! Disney is so conscious of food allergies, which takes all my fears of inflammation and upset stomachs away!

Are There Any Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Snacks at Magic Kingdom?

Yes! There are actually numerous gluten-free and dairy-free snacks at Disney World! In addition to dairy-free ice cream all over Walt Disney World, there is gluten-free and dairy-free popcorn throughout Magic Kingdom! And Liberty Square Market at Magic Kingdom has fresh fruit and more!

Now, let’s dive into the gluten-free and dairy-free dining options at Magic Kingdom in Disney World!

Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Restaurants at Magic Kingdom

Below is a list of gluten-free and dairy-free restaurants at Magic Kingdom. When writing this post, I decided to start on Main Street at the front of the park and work clockwise sharing the dining options.

Please note that table service restaurants are best to reserve in advance. You may reserve them up to 60 days in advance. Just go to Disney World’s dining page to reserve.

Quick-service restaurants are equivalent to fast food and do not need a dining reservation ahead of time.

Main Street in Magic Kingdom Options

Casey’s Corner on Main Street is a quick-service restaurant. Stop by and enjoy the outdoor piano music! Menu options include all-beef hot dogs in flavors such as chili cheese and chipotle barbeque, mandarin oranges, and french fries. While you can get a gluten-free hot dog bun, fries are not an option due to being made in a shared fryer.

Casey’s Corner also has a complimentary water station, one of many around Disney World!

Crystal Palace located on the north end of Main Street in Magic Kingdom is a buffet and character dining experience with Pooh and his friends. The restaurant can accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free individuals, but you will not know exactly how until you speak with a chef. Regular menu items include prime rib, country-fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and seasoned vegetables.

Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Restaurants in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom

Adventureland in Magic Kingdom already has some of the best dairy-free ice cream options!

But it also has Skipper Canteen, a casual dining restaurant perfect for gluten-free and dairy-free individuals!

Just inside of Adventureland, this Jungle Cruise-inspired restaurant has menu options including chicken tenders, steak, fish, lamb chops, stew, and rice noodle bowls. Those following a gluten-free and dairy-free diet can choose among several options including falafels, sui-marinated pork, lamb chops, and even sorbet!

Frontierland Restaurant Options

The Mexican-inspired quick service restaurant Pecos Bill Inn and Cafe makes visitors feel like they stepped into an old saloon with gluten-free and dairy-free menu items including bacon cheeseburger, carnitas rice bowl, chicken rice bowl, veggie rice bowl, and more.

Liberty Square Restaurant Options

Liberty Tree Tavern, a casual dining option, is located in Liberty Square just across from the Liberty Square Riverboat that goes around Tom Sawyer’s Island. With traditional homecooked options, Liberty Tree offers everything from turkey to meatloaf and more. Gluten-free and dairy-free options include pot roast, meatloaf, salad, rice bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and more.

Liberty Tree Tavern, a popular lunch and dinner place at Magic Kingdom

This is one dining option at Magic Kingdom that you should make reservations for! It can fill up fast!

While Liberty Tree Tavern is a popular option for some, I know others who have found the food too heavy for a hot day at the parks. Consider this when planning for your upcoming Disney World trip.

If you’re looking for a lighter meal, you may want to check out the quick-service restaurant at Magic Kingdom called Columbia Harbor House. The restaurant offers fish, seafood, chicken and more. Gluten-free and dairy-free restaurant menu options include grilled salmon, shrimp skewers, chicken strips, cookies, and more.

Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free Restaurants in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland

Looking for some fast and traditional American theme park food? Pinnochio’s Village Haus is a great quick-service restaurant that offers pizzas, flatbreads, chicken strips, french fries, and salad.

Dairy-free and gluten-free restaurant options at Pinnochio’s Village Haus include several pizza options, chicken nuggets, fries, and salad. Pinnochio’s has a dedicated gluten-free fryer so no need to worry about cross-contamination when it comes to the chicken nuggets and french fries.

Additionally, Pinnochio’s is located towards the middle of the park, making it easily accessible no matter where you are at Magic Kingdom when hunger strikes.

Be Our Guest is another dining option in Fantasyland. This one I’m adding with a caveat. The Be Our Guest allergy menu for gluten-free and dairy-free individuals is extremely limited. Trout Amandine and pork chops are the best dairy-free and gluten-free entree options. Of course, because this is a character dining experience reservations will be needed far in advance and plan to spend a pretty penny.

If you are considering Be Our Guest for the character experience, it may be worth not getting the greatest of meal options.

Be Our Guest is located on the northernmost tip of Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland.

Allergy-Friendly Restaurants in Tomorrowland

Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe is a quick-service restaurant located on the east side of the park just inside of Tomorrowland. Providing burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, turkey sandwiches, mandarin oranges and fries, Cosmic Rays is a convenient dining option.

Gluten-free and dairy-free individuals may enjoy a burger, an impossible burger, a chicken sandwich, chicken strips, french fries, and even a gluten-free brownie!

Considerations for Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free at Magic Kingdom

Please remember to always speak with a knowledgeable allergy specialist and/or read the allergy cards at each location before ordering. Menu items can change, and you will want the most up-to-date information to stay safe.

Summary

There are so many great gluten-free and dairy-free restaurants and snacks at Magic Kingdom! At Disney World, there is no need to stress about finding food you can eat or getting sick from the food. Magic Kingdom is very accommodating of food allergies!
