Pizza on a Stick: Paleo Hawaiian Skewers!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs uncured ham, sliced
  • ¾ cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
  • tsp dried garlic
  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 lb uncured bacon, cooked and cut into 1 inch squares
  • 2-4 green and red bell peppers, diced into 1 inch squares
  • 1 large onion (or 2 small), cut into 1 inch squares

Instructions

  • Mix the honey, coconut aminos, and garlic in a small bowl
  • Place the ham in a covered dish and pour the honey mixture on top. Let it sit in a covered dish for at least 6 hours, preferably over night, mixing half way through to evenly coat.
  • Prepare the ham by cutting into 1 inch squares.
  • String the ham, pineapple, bacon, and veggies on the skewers as desired.
  • Cook the skewers on a grill at medium high heat.
